Our Kitchen aid top arm not washing. Cannot determine if spinning or not. Removed, found no blockage, and replaced.Top rack not clean. Bottom rack is o.k. What could be my problem, and what do I need to do to fix it?
Answer Hello Smiley. Check and see if the water level inside the unit is low. If so, order and replace the water valve on the unit. If the water level is good, try cleaning the filters in the unit and replace them if needed.
I need the upper wash arm tube only, the make of the dishwasher is kitchen aid
The upper water delivery tube is part number 4171544, the spray arm is part number 9741993.
My dishwasher will full up and heat up but the water does not circulate. The dishes from the lower rack and the upper rack are not washing. It is more like a rinse. My husband says it looks like it is leaking at the back where the arm connects. Can you help me find the part that I might need? I am not sure if I need the spray arm assembly or something else. thank you for your help.
Answer Margaret, The first thing to check is the water level in the bottom of the tub. Start the dishwasher, let it fill and wash for 5 minutes, unlatch the door, remove the lower rack, and check that the water level is in contact with the bottom of the heater element(+/- 1/8 inch), If the water level is not proper, the spray arms and pump won't operate properly and cause a washability problem. If you're sure the water is leaking from the manifold pipe in the back of the tub. Then you will need to remove the rack check the docking port on the manifold 8559850 Then check or replace the W10258150 manifold and probe W10082831 .
