Evaporator coil is not defrosting. The defrost heater (67002493) resistance checks good. I replaced the defrost thermostat (W10165425) and the thermistor (1200235) because I had to cut them out of the line to check (both checked good after cutting out). Would it be either the Control Module (67004005) or the Control Board (W10165748)? If so, is there any way to check them first? Everything "passes" with the onboard "Service Test" 1 thru 8.

My freezer coils keep icing up. Last time was abouth 3 months ago. Condesor coils are cleaned. I verified that the defrost heating element is not burned out. Today I used the service instructions located in the condenser compartment to manually force a defrost. Display shows it should be in defrost. Heating element did not heat up. Compressor is still running, however fans did shut off. I am not sure if it is the defrost thermostat or the control board. Is there a defrost control board on this or just the whole fridge board. Any help would be great this every three month thing is getting old.

It seems that the defrost cycle is not working properly. The whole refrigerator warmed up until I unplugged/replugged and cleaned off some minor ice accumulation in the freezer area by the vent. It then worked properly but I don't know for how long. I have been told that I need to change the control board (part AP4358837) but I can't see how to remove the housing unit, which looks like it is part AP4364742. What is the secret? Am I on the right track? Anything else need to be replaced?
