All the igniters continue to spack after one burner is on. It's an intermittent problem. What can be the cause?
Yonel
Answer Yonel, Since this is an intermittent problem, check and make sure you have a polarized, grounded 120 VAC outlet that the power cord is plugged into. It's most likely an issue with the spark module, like you guessed, but, it could also be a faulty igniter switch on the burner gas valve. Good Luck
Igniter continues to spark after burner switch is off.

Answer Hello Ali. Check and make sure all the burners are clean and dry and there is a good clean surface for the igniter to ground when lit. If so, you will need to replace the spark module 8286828 in the unit.
Is there anyway in which I can test the spark panel myself to make sure it is not working before purchasing a new one?

Answer Daryl, Not really, You can check for 120 VAC into the module. Then check for 120 VAC from each individual burner switch. But you cannot check for the 2000 to 2500 VDC out to the igniters. Thanks and Good Luck
