My Maytag gas range madel number mgc7430ws , I need to replace the gas ignitor, part number w10110488, it should have 6 plugs on the top(2 on the right and 4 on the left), your online picture has total of 7 plugs(3 on the left and 4 on the right), is this a new manufacture part ? How can I deal with the additional plug on the right side, do you have any specific installation instruction on it? Please advise.

I believe the Spark Module has failed since I am getting gas to the range top but no spark. The spark module on my oven has a part number of 3186493. However, when I enter that number here, I get a spark module that has 3 prongs at the top and not 2 like on mine. On my module the middle prong is a blank. Module AP4364254 is the one that is referenced when I enter my model number. I just want to make sure I order that right part.

Latest Questions

After a few days of not using the stove the auto ignition stops working on all 4 cooktop burners. There is no clicking noise but you can hear the gas flowing and can ignite the burner with a match. Over time, days to weeks, the clicking sound returns and the auto ignition returns to normal. Does the replacement of the Spark Module (AP4364254) sound like a solution for this recurring problem?

Without thinking correctly, I removed the module and all the wires to it without marking the wires. I have the same color solid brown wires coming from the left two burners and the same color yellow wires coming from the right two burners. I also have a black wire that was hooked to negative and a white wire that was hooked to positive and no wire at ground because there is no connection on spark module. Is there a wiring diagram I can look at to hook up the wires correctly? Because I do not want to ruin the new module.
