This propane gas dryer seems to run forever in any sensor dry mode, way past when the clothes are already dry. Time dry works fine. I pulled out the sensor bars and tested the resistance; 0 ohms open and about 175,000 ohms with a damp rag across the bars, and this is after I cleaned them. I've read that the resistance should be only about 1000 ohms. Is there a way to determine if it just needs new sensor bars, or whether I need to replace the main control board? It seems like there's really nothing to these bars; they're just metallic strips and I can't see how they would fail.

Hi , my dryer stop heating a couple of days ago, Im fairly mechanical, so I took it apart . Check the thermal fuse , heating element, and the high limit thermostat, check fuses in the fuse box for continuity there good but replace them anyway (220V plugin). Could it be the moisture sensore bar, put a wet towel in after I reassembled still no heat but seem to shut off after 10 to 15 minutes. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thankyou John

The dryer is doing what others report pointing to a dirty moisture sensor; only will dry in manual mode. I tested the thermistor good, high limit good, etc before I noticed a possible missing sensor bar. When looking deeper I noticed I only have one sensor bar (top one). It appears the bar is missing that once connected to the black wire on harness 3406653. The end of the sensor strip was still connected to the harness and looks like it was broken free from the bar. The red/yellow wire's strip is intact. Am I assuming correctly there is suppose to be two bars sensing resistance between the pair? If so, please direct me to the proper part. Thanks again.

Dryer stopped working. Sensor light is on. Cannot advance. Is this a sensor? and if so, what one? Also, it seems to take a long time to dry. Works best on timed dry. Any suggestions on this?
