I have the new auger motor. Where do I connect the green wires from the freezer to the motor, the green wire end has a screw hole? The white wire bridge?? The large end fits into the freezer wire but then the two smaller ends (square white cap) are exactly the same? Lastly, blue and red wires come out form the light tube and connect to the capacitor with the red and blue wires form the auger motor. 1. Does the red or blue go on top of the capacitor? What electrical clip is needed to do that? John

Answer John, The Green wire is for ground and can be screwed to the motor on the unit.

My ice maker works and will dispense ice if it has just a little ice in the bin but if it is full it seems like the motor doesn't have the strength to turn the auger. What part do I need? Thanks for your help!

Answer Hello Happy, It actually sounds like either the auger coupling 10114901 or the auger motor shaft 12002089 threads are stripped. The best way to determine this is to unscrew the coupling from the motor shaft and visually inspect them to see if the threads look like there are metal shavings in them. If this isn't the issue, the motor windings are weak and the motor 12002089 will require replacement.

My Ice dispenser works just fine, but when I try to get crushed ice, it stalls out. Is the auger motor at fault? How difficult it it to install?

Answer Hello Ted. Check and make sure the auger in the bucket is not broke or loose. If it is good, you will need to replace the auger motor 12002089. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Matt. You can test and see if your getting power to the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. To do this, you will need to have the door switch closed, and the dispenser pressed, to read if power is there. If there is power to the motor, it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
