I turned the exhaust fan on--it doesn't run, but just buzzes. Is the motor bad?

Answer Hello Melinda. If there is power coming to the blower motor, and it does not run and is not locked up, you will need to replace the blower motor W10201322 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. The motor running the exhaust in my Jenn-air down draft slide in stove shuts down after running a minute or two, and makes an acrid odor. If its switch is left on, the motor starts up again after a couple of minutes, but then shuts down again, etc. Any idea what should be done?
