Answer Hello Willy. The condenser fan 10884507 draws air across the condenser coils removing heat from the sealed system. If it does not work, or the coils are dirty, the coils will overheat and the unit will not cool properly. Hope this helps.

Condenser Fan & Fan Motor
1. Remove the machine compartment cover
2. Unplug wire harness connector from fan motor
3. Remove the screws from the backside of the fan motor, holding it to the bracket.
4. Note which side of the fan blade is front and which one is rear. Then use pliers to remove the nut holding the blade in place.
