I am trying to replace the motor coupler. The old one does not have nut. Trying to take it off, it just spins round and round, not making it's way off. Suggestions?
The only way to get this coupler off, you would have to wedge something under the coupling and tap the part off. It is very difficult to do, you can install the new coupling on top of the old coupling. It will not cause any issue with dispenser.
My refrigerator just started making a very loud noise. I turned the refrig off -- not sure what is the cause. Any ideas?
Without knowing what kind of noise the unit is making it would be hard to determine as there are several possibilities. Check your condenser fan motor which is one of the most common reasons for noise. If it is in plastic casing then the fan motor shaft is probably moving around unnaturally. Also check to see if you can determine where the noise is emanating from.
