Answer Rochele, Without knowing what kind of noise the unit is making it would be hard to determine as there are several possibilities. Check your condenser fan motor which is one of the most common reasons for noise. If it is in plastic casing then the fan motor shaft is probably moving around unnaturally. Also check to see if you can determine where the noise is emanating from.

Answer Hi Penny. The auger motor coupling has the nut already built in as you can see it. It is a LT. hand thread and after initial tightening, it will self tighten when you use the auger bin. Part # is 316576631. Thank you.

Answer Hi Notsohandy. First you will need to see if you have 120vac coming to the auger motor when the door switch is taped shut. Then have someone call for ice cubes. You should have 120vac at the auger motor coupling. Then if you do, you will need to replace the crusher solonoid and the auger motor assembly. The crusher solonoid is part # 2152713. The auger motor is part # W10317991. Thank you.

Answer Hello Malcolm. If the threads are stripped out on the shaft, you will need to replace the motor W10317991. Hope this helps.
