Answer John, The CCU supplies 120 VAC to the drain pump on the two wire DP2 connector on the CCU, it also supplies 120 VAC to the water inlet valves on the VH7 four(4) wire connector. There are two power sources to the MCU, the MI3 connector on the CCU supplys five(5) VDC on pin 1 and 3 (three wire connector) and 120 VAC on the MS2 (two wire) connector on ccu. We have no voltage readings to the motor from the MCU at this time.

Answer Hello Robert, The model number listed is not coming up as a valid model number. If the unit is a whirlpool Duet front load washer then it could be the MCU. The F11 error code would indicate a communicaation between the central control unit and the motor control unit. You would want to check the wire harness connections to the MCU, motor and CCU for corrosion or damage. Check the drive system for worn or failed components, check the MCU, CCU Motor and wire harness. The MCU is located on the base of the unit and can be access from the back of the unit.

Answer Hello Kasey, You would want to check your pump to make sure that there is nothing in it causing the noise. Most likely the cause is from the rear bearings on the tub 280251 have failed and would need to be replaced

Answer Robin, There is no A/C voltage supplied at the motor The MCU(motor control unit) converts it to D/C voltage. The proper motor test procedure is to test the motor winding resistances ( pin 1 to pin 2, pin 1 to pin3 and pin and pin 2 to pin 3, they should all have the same resistances (3 to 6 ohms on each test) pin 4 and 5 are your tachometer circuit and there should be a resistance reading, it should not be an "open" circuit. You will then want to test for 5 VDC across pins 1 and 3 on the MI3 connector at the CCU No D/C volts indicate a loose/broken wire or faulty MCU. Good Luck and Thanks

Answer Peggy, The "fd" code indicates the washer failed to drain in the proper amount of time. The "f31" code indicates an issue with the MCU(motor control board). Once you remove the lower access panel, you can check the drain pump for clogged hoses and filter. at the same time, you'll be able to check for damaged wiring at the MCU and up top the CCU and replace the MCU W10197864 if the wiring is OK.
