It will wash but won't spin. You can hear it trying but won't. I even try with just a wash cloth in it and it still wont spin. I belive it may be a moter but not sure.
You will want to access the tech sheet that should be located in the control panel. You will want to put the unit through a diagnostic mode which should give you an idea of what has failed. There will be error codes that will help you to determine the failure and the testing procedures for that.
When washer is first turned on, initial sensor starts. After wash cycle, at spin - it does not spin and lid lock LED starts to blink and times out. Washer stops at spin cycle. It will not spin unless you stop washer and set to spin cycle.
Answer Hello Washer,
You would want to access the service tech sheet and put unit through a diagnostics test. You will want to check to make sure that the drain pump is not clogged and is pumping. You will also want to check wiring from main control to the drain pump, RPS sensor and lid lock.
When washer finished would spin out dry, stopped when I arrived. I started the sensing but nothing happened. Lid lock was on also sensing light on. I think motor is bad ?
Answer HI. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Look at the water valve part # to see if the cold water is clogged. Clean out the pump inlet hose and if the pump part # W10276397 impeller is spinning loose on the motor shaft then replace it. If there are suds then fill with cold and drain immediately to flush out the suds. Thank You.
