The pulley attached to the motor that drives the belt is stripped and fallen off. The drive on the motor is stripped as well. I have tried to epoxy, superglue, you name it. I get about 5 to 10 cycles out of the dryer and it comes undone again. Is there anyway, short of shelling out the cash for a new motor and pulley, to fix this problem?

Dryer runs for a while lets say 5 min, then if you stop it and try to restart all it does is buzz. I also get an odor like something is hot. If I let it cool down I can restart.

Model number MDG9206Bww. The motor on my dryer won,t turn freely. I have removed the belt and drum and tried to rotate the motor. It seems like the bearings are starting to seize. Is there any to repair the bearings or is this a waste of time?

My upper unit is not drying. It is making a funny sound when turned on but does not heat up. The lower dryer works fine. The lower unit had its motor replaced a year ago. A repairman said that it could be the blower(?) or possibly the circuit board but there was no way of telling until he replaced the blower. Does this sound right? Also, do you sell that part? How difficult is it to replace? I absolutely love this dryer so it is worthwhile for me to fix it since they no longer make this model. Thank you!

I can not find the peice that screws into the pully shaft (its belled out at the end that faces motor then has a lip at other end to hold the belt) and the belt loops around. Is this a universal kind of part that works off all motors. I need to order one mine split in two at the shaft and also need a belt
