My Maytag Neptune Dryer started to make noise and then started to slow down then drum froze overload went out on motor. I took the dryer completely apart thinking there was something stuck. I then went to turn motor by hand couldn't turn very tight. Finally freed motor turned it a by hand seemed fine .Put it all back together made noise as it turned started to slow and again froze. Do you think it is the motor? Thanks Al

My Neptune dryer won't run. Only niose it makes are the relays when the start button is pushed. I've checked the thermostats and they seem fine. I've been trying to find a wiring schematic but have been unsuccessful. But in looking I noticed a switch behind the motor on the parts breakdown, what does that switch do and how can I test the motor, before I go out and purchase one.

I am looking for the rubber piece that holds the motor shaft in place in the motor mount. I would hate to have to buy a whole new motor just for that rubber piece. Can you tell me if and where I might find it? It is the orange plastic ring with black rubber inside that surrounds the shaft.
