Evaporator fan wasn't working, had voltage to fan. Replaced fan, didn't run. Checked and no voltage to fan, checked at control board and no voltage going to fan. Is there anything other than the control board that would prevent sending voltage out to the fan? whirlpool GB2FHDXWQ00

My 18 month old Maytag bottom freezer fills with a sheet of ice. When I look at the back edge the water is coming through a seam and dripping into the tray, The fan shroud cover and the surrounding area has ice crystals all over. I've pulled off the back of the fridge to see if it drains and the drip pan is dry. I've run a small tool up the nozzle ( I think 27-28-28 on the schematic) to see if I can unblock something but to no avail. My next assumption is the evaporator motor which I think might be fairly easy to repair as I am fairly mechanical. Would you agree with my assessment or is there something else I should look at and try. Many thanks. Krysia

I am working on this model of whirlpool refrigerator and the evaporator motor wasn’t working so I replaced it. The motor still doesn’t work so I checked the voltage at the connection the motor plugs into and it tests out at 95 volts. Could there be a bad resistor in the control board?
