Answer Jacke, It sounds more like a defrost issue ( timer, heater, thermostat,) Either way, you don't need to replace the refrigerator in most cases. A model number would be a great help, in determining your issue and possible parts needs and availability.

Answer Hello Sam. If the evaporator motor 63001057 inside the freezer is noisey, you will need to remove the back wall of the freezer and see if it is bad. If so, this can cause the problems your having. Hope this helps.
