Kenmore Trio 59675523400. My freezer is working but the fridge is not cooling. Coils froze over. Thawed out. Damper opens and closes in fridge compartment OK. Removed panel in freezer compartment and fan is not working. It shutters a tiny bit when unit turns on but never engages. Pulled plastic connector to fan and it is getting 110V. Do I just need to replace the fan?

I have a Kenmore bottom mount freezer refrigerator. I replaced the motor kit with the redesigned replacement motor kit P/N 12002744. This replacement motor kit works, but now inside the refrigerator, any item I put on the Top Shelf freezes, where prior to replacing this part I never had this issue. The original motor looks like the one shown in the photo. I separated the original motor kit and it has a small curcuit board inside. My best guess is that this circuit board must be a speed controller? How could I order the original part and not the redesign replacement or what can I do to keep the top shelf from freezing? I tried turning up the refrigerator thermostate to 40 degrees and the freezer is set at 0 degrees, but still having the same issue. any advise would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

I ordered the motor kit (12002744) and there is a note that mentions of a redesign for the motor. The old picture is exactly the same as the unit I am replacing. My question is, will the new, re-designed unit still fit in the original mount/bracket or do I also need to order a new one?

For the last week a loud buzz noise has been clicking on then cycling off. I checked the temp is freezer and fridge and all seemed OK. Yesterday I noticed that everything in freezer was thawing out. I turned off unit for 3 hours and when I powered it back on everything started working fine with no clicking noise. It worked properly for 24 hours then clicking noise started again and freezer and fridge are NOT cooling again. Any suggestions?

My freezer is working with coil and back wall iced, fridg is room temp. Unplug and let thaw; remove all ice and remove rear panel. Defrost heater has continuity. When I plugged in the power cord the first time, I noticed that the freezer motor is turning very slowly and eventually comes up to speed. Unplug power cord and let set for several hours. Plug power cord in and freezer fan appears to start normal. Do you think the fan motor needs to be replaced? Will a bad fan cause the coil to freeze over? Thanks
