I have a pos kitchenaid refrigerator that is 10 months old and has seen the repair man about 6 times. This time the ice maker keeps overfilling the ice trays and overflows down into the ice bucket filling the dispensing motor cavity with water which turns into ice causing the motor to freeze up. They have installed a new ice maker and dispensing motor. This time it did it again so I tore it about and again found the motor frozen in ice. Call the repair man again, they are coming out Monday. Any suggestions on a permanent repair?

The shaft will not remove from the auger motor. It seems there are some rust/orange mold build up at both the coupling and where the shaft meets the auger motor. I've put a mallet to the auger motor in hope to free up the motor from the shaft, but only the coupling are knocked free. I am thinking about putting some rust removal or some bleach at the area to loosen any kind of rust / mold that could have bonded the shaft and the auger motor. Any idea as to why I can't remove the shaft with ease as I've seen others folks who have worked on this area before?

I have an ice maker in my refrigerator. It makes ice but will not dispense ice out of the door. When i push the button, i can hear the door open but the motor never turns to push the ice out. How can i test to see if the motor is any good. Or would this be the only logical part to replace?

Need to replace my auger motor (p/n 2323603), due to a malfunctioning ice maker, it filled the area that it sits in with water. As I defrosted it to remove it, The wiring came out of the plug; there are 4 male commectors on the motor and 2 wires on the harness. One is grey with a red trace and the other is blue. Which terminals does each wire go in ? So when I order my motor I will have it correctly wired.
