Answer Steve, You will want to check the motor winding for the high speed spin. This would be blue to white on the motor. Check the resistance. If the winding is bad then the motor will not spin in final rinse even though it spins during the wash cycle. If the motor checks ok then the issue will either be in the fabric selector switch or the timer.

Answer Mark, The neutral drain kit 388253 is the least likely issue. It's an internal component of the transmission, and has little to nothing to do with the agitate cycle. If you can hear the motor run, and / or the washer will drain the water from the tub, you most likely have a damaged motor coupling 285753A which drives the transmission input shaft, this would keep the transmission from operating, or a faulty gearcase/transmission 3360629. If the motor doesn't operate, you'll need to check the electrical components: lid switch, timer, motor and wiring, for a defect.

Answer Hello Ken. If the pinion is slipping, then it will make a popping sound. If so, you can replace the drain kit 388253 should repair the issues. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Actionfigure. Remove the drive tube 285792 from the washing machine. Check and see if there are rings worn around the tube. If so, you will need to replace the tub support 280184 and the drive tube. Hope this helps.
