I like to know if this loxit nut made by whirpool will be okay to use instead of loxit number 8011469 made by frigidaire.

Could you show a picture of the safety valve and show which terminals you touch when testing with the volt meter?

I checked the 2 red wires coming off the safety valve, which connects to the lower burner igniter (i diconnected the igniter plug) and i'm getting 114.5 v.

Answer Hello Andrew. You will need to test the oven valve with the igniter connected and turned on. If you disconnect the igniter, you bypass the igniter and get a wrong voltage reading. Hope this helps.
