My washer makes a lot of noise when spinning.
Answer Hello Alfredo. If the noise is a bearing noise, you will need to order 280251 and 8540451 to repair the unit. Thanks.
How do I reove the nut from the stud so I can remove the pulley on the back of the drum?
Is is a left handed or right handed thread?
Answer Micky, To remove the pulley from the basket, place the handle of a crescent wrench through the pulley and into the steel bearing hub to keep the pulley from turning. Use a 21-millimeter socket wrench to remove the nut securing the pulley to the basket. The pulley nut and shaft is a "standard" thread, right/clockwise, to tighten and left/counterclockwise to loosen. They are torqued very tightly at the factory, you don't really want to try to hold the pulley with your hand, when you start removing or tightening the nut.
Is this a metric nut? If so what is diameter and pitch?
We do not have specs on the whether the nut is metric or the diameter and pitch.
