Answer Hello Nancy, The 9742946 is for the lower spray arm assembly. The nylon bearing ring for the upper spray arm is not available as an individual part. You would have to replace the upper spray arm 3379369.

Answer Bobby, You're on target, great deduction. Replace both bearings 9742946 , 3376846 and check the bottom side of the spray arm insert for damage as well, replace it if necessary.

Answer Tom, No, the spray arm components would not normally cause a drain issue in a dishwasher, you will want to replace them in order to maintain proper washabilty. You may want to start by disconnecting the drain hose from the plumbing under the sink and drain the dishwasher, this will usually clear any minor clogs in the pump and drain hose. You may need to disconnect the drain hose from the pump assembly and check the "Drain Check Valve" 675238 for clogs or debris. Good Luck and Thanks
