We bought this dryer used and it is set up for LP. We need to convert it back to natural gas and are not sure if the orifice is the only part required or if there are additional parts needed? Thanks
Answer Hello Kevin,
To convert your dryer from propane to natural gas, part numbers 15418 - natural gas orifice, 694424 - nat. leak limiter, 694423 - regulator adjusting screw and 694422 Spring, Nat.gas are needed. It is recommended that a qualified installer perform the conversion.
I purchased this part and need to know if this is the only part I needed to convert my appliance.
Answer Daniel, No, there are other needed parts. You didn't mention which conversion you're doing, back to NAT gas or to LP gas. But you will need the LP conversion kit W10606694A if you're going to convert to LP. or 694424 limiter, 694423 regulator, 694422 regulator spring, 15418 burner orifice, if you're returning back to Nat Gas. Be carefull, and don't overtighten the fittings, and check for gas leaks with a bubble solution. Thanks and Good Luck
