Answer Denzil, It sounds like you broke the shafts off of the gas valves 12002281 and the valves would need to be replaced.

Answer Jason, No there is no difference in the tube assemmbly, even for "propane" gas. In your case, you will need to mark and remove the brass burner orifice(s) from the original assembly, and install them in the same location on the new orifice assembly, then install the assembly. Make sure you have power to the range disconnected. Carefully hold your finger over the top of the orifice and turn the gas valve knob to the open position, and check all your connections for a gas leak(with a soap solution) then install the cooktop. Answer Hello Walter. No, you should not need to adjust the orifice tube assembly 5787D105-60. If the flames do not look right in the unit, you can adjust the orifices. Be sure and leak check the system before lighting it.
