Answer Steve, You will want to try to determine where the water is leaking from. Is it leaking from the pump, a hose, from the tub, or is it around the shaft of the transmission.

Answer Hello Elise. If the outer tub ring is removed, and the nut is removed from the unit, then the basket lifts off the drive block. Sometimes you need to give a jerk upward to break it loose and remove it. Just make sure the retaining nut is removed before jerking on the inner basket assembly.

Answer Roy, If you followed the instructions from the video, and have the basket drive spanner nut 21366 removed, you're doing fine. On older units, occasionally the spin basket will "stick" to the drive block 389140 and won't "lift" off the block. You may need to push down and pull up on the spin basket edges to "break it loose" from the drive block, and then lift the tub off the block and out of the washer. Good Luck and Thanks
