My Repair & Advice
At first many may think of an appliance fix as a difficult and costly process. Thanks to an Appliance Parts Pros video I found online I was able to quickly diagnose and order the parts I needed. Now as an automotive technician, I was pretty confident I could do the repair but did not think it would be this easy! A screw driver was the only tool needed to replace my ignitor! While every stove is different, I guarantee even someone who has zero mechanical experience could complete this job with the help of one of the online instructional videos! One tip I will mention that pertains to this particular range is do not be intimidated by the fact that you are replacing the whole burner with the ignitor. If anything it makes the job easier and you are not tampering with any direct gas lines. Once you get into the bottom of the oven it is self explanatory!
