I have an old RCA Whirlpool wall oven and need a new bake element. The model number is RLE25E5 and the SSN is M-41158. The mounting bracket width is 19 1/8. The current element may be a replacement and is 15 inch deep by 22 inch wide. It looks like part 326793 would fit. Hope you can help. Thanks

I am unable to locate a lower heating element for our Whirlpool electric oven. Can anyone help? Although this appliance is 32 years old, it has been well maintained and kept spotlessly clean so I hate to junk it if I can find this element.

Latest Questions

I have a Magic Chef smooth top electric range. Yesterday we ran it thru a cleaning cycle. When It was almost finished it started flashing the bake indicator. After it cooled down and we were able to unlock the door, we cleaned up the ash. a few hours later when going to prepare dinner, I tried to preheat the oven and it won't heat up, it just flashes the bake light when you try and set the temperature. It allowed us to try and set the temperature a couple of times, but each time it did it scrolled immediately up to 350 and beeped like it was done pre heating, except that it was ice cold. I was poking around on the internet and I think the problem may be with the bake element . I replaced the lower bake element once in July of 2010. I don't have the model number here right now, but the bake element is #74010750 if that helps. I also turned of the breaker for a few minutes to try and reset the circuit board. Please let me know what I can do to diagnose it. Thanks, Wayne K
