Answer Ian, The F5 error code is an indication that there is an overtemperature issue. You will want to check the wiring to the oven sensor and ohm the sensor. The resistance value of the sensor should be approximately 1090 ohms at room temp. If not within range replace the sensor.

Answer Hello Robert, You will want to check resistance of the oven sensor and the Meat probe. The oven sensor should read a resistance of 1100 ohms at room temperature and the meat probe should read resistance of approximately 18963 ohms at 122 degrees. The resistance range gets higher as the temperature deceases. At 150 degrees the resistance is 9938 ohms, and at 156.2 resistance is at 8846 ohms.You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
