Answer Hello Richard. The gaskets W10162384 usually last 5 to 10 years depending on use. There is no glu, the gaskets are help on the door with clips. You will pull the old gasket off and insert the clips on the new gasket into the holes. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Lou. No, you do not need to use oven cleaners inside a self cleaning oven. If you remove the door and clean the glass, the old gasket W10162384 should be fine and should not need to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Trini. Yes, these are easy to replace. The old one will pull out of the door. It uses press in clips to install the gasket. Just remove the old gasket and install the new one by pressing the clips in the holes. Be sure and start at the bottom of the door, where the ends of the gasket tuck inside the door. Hope this helps.
