Answer Hello Keith. Most of the time, the hinges go bad from sitting weight on the door. When removing items from the oven, it is not a good idea to sit it on the door and then lift it off. Also, letting the door drop down without support will damage them as well.

Answer Al, You will want to check the oven door liner to make sure that the liner has not warped and if not then the hinges 4455525 would need to be replaced. There are no adjustments on the hinges.

Answer Tony, it depends on the door type. If you open the door to the first stopping point, some oven doors will lift off the unit in this position. On other models, you will see clips on the back of the hinge toward the opening where the hinge enters the range. If yours is like this, you will open the door all the way open, then pull the clips down until they stop and lock in place. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the range. If your door does not lift off, and it does not have the clips, then you will open the door all the way open. You will see a hole in the hinge at the bottom of the door. You will insert a pin or nail into that hole and close the door to the stopping point. Then you can lift the door off the unit. Hope this information helps you. Thanks!

Answer Hello Joe. You will need to insert a pin or a large nail into the hole in the hinge with the door all the way open. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the oven. Reinstall in reverse order after the new hinges 4455525 are installed. Hope this helps.
