I am in need of part number 9782611, the door lock unit, according to the error code I get when the oven shuts down. It is no longer available on kitchen aid site, discontinued, and can't find it on e bay, or amazon. Any suggestions as to what to do at this point?

My kitchenaid oven sometimes shows a F7E0 code while the oven is on. I am able to cancel it out and restart the oven but there are times when it will take several restarts to finally keep the oven on. I just recently moved the door locking rod back and forth to help clear away any debris that may have built up over the years, the oven is 10 years old, it stays on for now, but could this be a malfunctioning interlock switch? Or could it be a computerboard problem? Thanks.

Latest Questions

Oven door locked and digital display shows code F5:E7. Clearing display and turning off the breaker does not reset. I found on another website that this code refers to the a malfunction on the latch. Would this be the part I would need to replace to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for your help.
