My kitchenaid oven sometimes shows a F7E0 code while the oven is on. I am able to cancel it out and restart the oven but there are times when it will take several restarts to finally keep the oven on. I just recently moved the door locking rod back and forth to help clear away any debris that may have built up over the years, the oven is 10 years old, it stays on for now, but could this be a malfunctioning interlock switch? Or could it be a computerboard problem? Thanks.

Oven door locked and digital display shows code F5:E7. Clearing display and turning off the breaker does not reset. I found on another website that this code refers to the a malfunction on the latch. Would this be the part I would need to replace to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer Ben, You didn't supply a proper model number, but, the F7 E0 code, does indicate a problem with the switch on the self clean door latch assembly. Replacing the assembly 9782611 would solve the problem if the lock rod 9750523 and the latch assembly are in tact. Thanks and Good Luck
