Answer Hello Paul! You're right on track! An F3 failure code indicates a shorted or open temp sensor. You will need to check the sensor harness and harness connection between the sensor and oven control. Replace the temp sensor if the wiring is ok. Both of the original temp sensors have been redesigned they are now the same part number. You will need to order 12001656. Thanks!

Answer Hello Susan. If you can see the screws inside the oven, you can replace it from there. If not, you will need to replace it from the back of the unit.

Answer Hello Gary. If the sensor is new, you will need to order and replace the control in the unit.

Answer John, The sensor could cause the unit to turn the fan off before it completely cools. What you want to check is at the control board check the oven sensor from this point to check to make sure the sensor is good. The ohm reading at room temperature should be approximately 1090 ohms.
