This 230 degree fahrenheit nonresettable inline oven thermal fuse is located in the vent area. The two insulated female spade terminals are 3/16 inch and a 1/4 inch and may appear different from original. For the 248F thermal fuse with the insulated female spade and plug order 4456654.

My oven shut off while in use. It is a double oven. There is no heat, no lights, no display for either oven. I have checked to make sure there isn't a breaker flipped off. I asked advice through your online chat and was told that it may be the thermal fuse. They said there may be two of them since it is a double oven. Do I need to replace both fuses? Can you tell me the location of them and perhaps we can test the fuses to make sure they're bad before I order them? Thanks in advance.

I have a Whirlpool RBD275PDB2 electric built in double oven. When using the oven the control panel goes blank. after it cools down it comes back on and works as normal. I assume it's the control panel, but could it be the fuse?

I ordered this fuse as a replacement but I could not install it as one connector is different. I'm told by customer service that the part received is a direct replacement. However, the replacement part has one 1/4" female spade and one 3/16" female spade while the original has two 1/4" female spades, one of which is uninsulated. Other than the lack of insulation, the different size is not readily apparent when looking at the original in situ. I am wondering if the spade can safely be replaced or if the harness plug can be replaced. If the fuse spade is the one changed, does it make a difference which direction to place?

The control panel went blank after my wife had her annual Christmas cookie marathon. I suspect it might be the thermal fuse similar to the one I was directed to on your website. When I entered the Whirlpool model number to check compatibility, a red message appeared that indicated that it was not. Do you have a thermal fuse that is for our oven?

Recently, when heating the oven there is a strong gas odor that fills our kitchen and is very noticeable. I believed it was caused by a bad ignitor, however I can see both top and bottom heating elements glowing. Now the oven will not heat at all, whether in broil, convection, or any other mode. The ignitors glow, but nothing happens. What part can I replace to fix this? Thank you
