Whirlpool gold series double oven shut down during the self cleaning process. I was advised to changed thermal fuse part# 4451042. I did and the oven control panel is back on but, the upper oven heating elements are not getting hot at all. What should I do next?

The accubake double oven was locked up after cleaning cycle! I replaced a AP3110028 thermo fuse because it was bad! When the power came back on it was in the cooling mode! My sister tried to cut off the cleaning and it went to E2 F2 E2 code! We shut the breaker and waited about twenty minutes! Turned on the power and the display went to PH and the clock was on the display! Then the clock went off in about 30 seconds! Then the E2 F2 E2 code came on!

My double oven stopped working. The lights still come on in the ovens when the doors open and we get beeping when pressing buttons on the operator interface but the display is dead and we don't get any heat. Before it failed, the display was dim for a couple of months but the ovens still worked. Control board? Can I do the repair myself? Part Number? Thanks

Latest Questions

My oven shut off while in use. It is a double oven. There is no heat, no lights, no display for either oven. I have checked to make sure there isn't a breaker flipped off. I asked advice through your online chat and was told that it may be the thermal fuse. They said there may be two of them since it is a double oven. Do I need to replace both fuses? Can you tell me the location of them and perhaps we can test the fuses to make sure they're bad before I order them? Thanks in advance.

I have a Whirlpool RBD275PDB2 electric built in double oven. When using the oven the control panel goes blank. after it cools down it comes back on and works as normal. I assume it's the control panel, but could it be the fuse?

I ordered this fuse as a replacement but I could not install it as one connector is different. I'm told by customer service that the part received is a direct replacement. However, the replacement part has one 1/4" female spade and one 3/16" female spade while the original has two 1/4" female spades, one of which is uninsulated. Other than the lack of insulation, the different size is not readily apparent when looking at the original in situ. I am wondering if the spade can safely be replaced or if the harness plug can be replaced. If the fuse spade is the one changed, does it make a difference which direction to place?
