So my refrigerator make a click then makes a whining noise. I replaced both the Run capacitor and Overload/relay about 6 months ago and it worked fine. I originally replaced these two parts because the compressor wasn't coming on and it was making the same noise. This time though it makes the same noise but the fridge is cooling. Do I need to replace the same parts again and if so why would this be happening again?

The start relay on my bottom-freezer fridge buzzes, then I hear a motor sound come on, however cool air is blowing in the fridge, not cold air. What is the most likely cause?

My KitchenAid fridge and freezer are not cooling. Unplugged it for 45 minutes and got everything running. The fan and compressor are now running. The compressor is warm but not hot, maybe 110 - 115 degrees. No noticeable sounds. Could it be something other than a sealed system problem?

Latest Questions

I need a new relay for my GE Profile refrigerator. Unfortunately, GE must think that a refrigerator 10 years old needs to be replaced and they stop making the relay. There has to be an equivalent or a way I can use another relay and make it work. The part number of the relay is WR08X10031. I have seen WR08X10031 WPL which apparently is for a Whirlpool. Are they interchangeable? Or do you have another suggestion?

Am replacing a compressor starter relay. The old relay has a red and blue lead. The new one you sent has smaller female spade end in different location and are side by side. Not sure which leads go where?
