I have an old Sears upright freezer. The overload, part 483012, heated up, was glowing and melting in one spot, and smokes. Smoking isn't good. When it is first plugged in it seems to be running. Could there be another problem that caused this or is it likely that changing this overload will solve the problem? Thank you, Brad

My Sears Coldspot refrigerator appears to need a new Overload/Relay Switch (has stopped cooling and "Clicks" every 2/3 minutes). Your web site offers an Overload/Relay Kit (AP3120015) made by Whirlpool which it says "replaces old style" switch. However, when I checked it with your compatibility function I received the message that the part is "Not Compatible" with my particular model and offers no other alternative. So... Is it compatible or not - and if not what other options do you suggest?

I Hear the relay click when trying to start the compressor. It will try several times until the compressor starts. When running, the compressor sounds quiet and normal. What do I need to correct the problem before I have a failure?

Will part# 819160 replace my factory switch? Constant clicking on and off and motor is overheating. All fans work normally but fridge wont cool, blows warm air out. It seems the switch or motor itself is bad and the switch is the cheapest option. Thanks, Benjamin
