Where is the power control board filter indicator located on this refrigerator? Could this be the cause of no water going to the ice maker?
Thanks

Answer Bob,
This PC board filter indicator is located in the control panel of the refrigerator section. The unit not getting water to the icemaker you will want to make sure that you have a good filter but also check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. A frozen fill tube can be cause by low water pressure or seeping water valve and would not have pc board would have nothing to do with no water.
Ice maker has not worked for some time (2 years), but ice dispenser worked. Suddenly, water dispenser stopped as well. Any idea what might need to be replaced (short of the whole frig, which is 12 years old).

Answer Randy, Make sure the filter is not clogged and the reservoir is not frozen. Then, Check and make sure there are no damaged or loose wires in the connector at the bottom of the freezer door hinge. If all's OK, you'll need to consider the water inlet valve W10408179 the solenoid may have failed, the selector switch 2180236 on the front of the dispenser, the switch circuit may have failed and then the actuator switch 2162361 inside the dispenser may have failed. If the fill valve is the issue replacing it may also solve your ice maker issue.
