I have this refer and the compressor and fans do not run. The lights work there is power to everything as far as I can see. Does the P-C board control the compressor and fans. If so where is the board.

When opening door, display and/or fridge lights will not go on. Door Open indicator light stays on. Beeping constant. When door is opened slightly at approx 33 degree angle, light will come on briefly only at that angle. Door does not fully close on its own. From this perspective seems as a hinge or closing mechanism problem. When I push up flapper at switch on top of door, light and display lights up. Any ideas?

When I open Kitchenaid built-in Fridge door for more than 1 minute or so unit starts beeping and does not reset when I close door. Have tried using overtemp reset and tried turning power on/off at control panel and on top of unit to reset but just keeps beeping intermittently and system powers on and off. I found if I do the master resets as noted above then leave it alone for a while with doors closed it seems to work out. The fan and the condenser seem to come back on and work appropriately at that point. Both fridge and freezer seem to maintain the proper temperatures once you reset and leave doors closed for a while. I tried an experiment in which I taped the door switches closed so that when I open the door the control panel inside fridge does not light up and lights do not come on. When I do this I can use the fridge and freezer fine and there's no beeping and the fan and condenser work fine. What is the problem? Do I just need to replace door switches? Or wiring to door switches? Or does this have something to do with the power supply board? I assumed it was not the control board since the fan and condenser work fine when doors stay closed or there is tape over door switch. I even tried putting spacer between switch and door hinge so that it pushes switch completely in when door is closed but as soon as I open the door (with no tape over door switch) it will start beeping and cycling. Thanks for your help.
