Lately when you push the pad for it to dispense ice, you can hear the motor running but ice won't dispense. I dumped all the ice in the bucket and cleaned it to make sure nothing was hanging up. Could it possibly be the motor going out or do you think something is wrong with the pad itself? I checked and the ice door is closing as it should.

You will want to check the coupling under the ice bin on the door to make sure that it is not stuck in the down position. If you remove the 2 screws on the door holding the coupling in place. Once pulled off you will want to pull the coupling off. If it is stuck then the shaft will probably come out as well. If it does just run under some hot water to thaw and then dry good. Once you do this reinstall the shaft and coupling. There is a spring that goes in between them don't forget spring.
