Lights on touch pad do not light up, checked thermal fuse its good, replaced control board still not working. Reset breaker (power coming to unit) with door open when closing door the unit starts and runs in drain mode about 2 mins then wash light comes on then unit shuts down and will not do anything unless you reset the breaker then dose the same thing. Could the touch pad be bad?

Kenmore dishwasher. No apparent power to console/keypad. No LEDs light up. Attempted diagnostic cycle, no LEDs light up. Thermal fuse has continuity. Door switches work fine.I disconnected console/keypad from control(circuit board) per troubleshooting sheet/schematic that came with washer. Plugged in dishwasher to power, closed door and drain pump came on for 2 minutes and shut off. According to schematic, this is most likely a faulty console/keypad unit. There are instructions on how to test keyswitch contacts, but this does not apply to a "touch sensitive" interface which I think this console is. I would just like some assurance that the keypad/console is faulty before I order it. Thanks, Mike
