Not all selections on the control board are lighting up and the dishwasher is not working. Should we purchase the control board?
Thanks.

Answer Hello Hans,
Turn the power off to the unit and remove the screws to the door liner to gain access to the control area. Remove the ribbon cable and use a dry pencil eraser to clean the ribbon cable. Be sure to note if any gaskets around the vent area appear to have been leaking since moisture will cause corrosion on the electrical connections. when you clean the ribbon cable, rub the connections only toward the end to prevent damage to the cable. If this produces no positive results, the issue can be with the control panel or the control board. The panel W10197307 is normally suspected before the control board W10218838.
Need info on removal of the AP4358095 panel?

Answer Hello Robert. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the screws securing the inner door panel. Remove the inner door panel and remove the cover off the control board. Remove the ribbon cable from the control board and remove the screws holding the control board housing in place. Next remove the screws holding the control panel in place. Reinstall with the new control panel W10197307 in reverse order. Hope this helps.
