Would a defective door switch keep the start/cancel light from being lit? The door has to be open in-order to push the start buttons. (All of the buttons are on top of the door). Is there any other sensors in the system that would prevent the start of the dishwasher i.e water pressure switch?

Answer Hello Bob. It won't prevent the light from working, but can prevent the dishwasher from starting. It sounds like the control panel is the problem. Hope this helps.

All option lights go on, start and delay lights will not go on and unit will not run.

Answer Hello Bob. Check the door switches 99002751 and make sure they are good. If so, you will need to replace the control panel 6-919831. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. The touch pad is not working at all.
