I have a F-7 code on the display and it beeps constantly. Is it the touch pad that has to be replaced? Can I replace it or does it need a repairman?
Answer Hello Michelle. The F7 fault code occurs when the control senses a key pressed for an extended period of time. This indicates that a key has stuck, so the membrane switch 71002041 is in need of replacement. as far as replacing it, I don't think this is an extremely difficult repair, as long as the power is discontinued to the unit before the repair is started, (Turn off the breaker during the repair). Hope this was useful and have a great day!
Oven has a F-7 code, Beeps, and does this at all hours day and night. The oven light also comes on. Will quit for a while if oven light switch and cancel are pushed. Then later starts up again.
Answer Rex, You're on the right track, the F7 error code is an indication of the control board "seeing" a selection button pressed for more than 32 seconds. The Keypad/Control panel 71002300 is the place to start. Good Luck and Thanks
got a f7 code already bought the cloak what could it be thank you dale
Answer Dale, The F7 code on that wall oven, indicates a stuck keypad. So you're set and ready, as soon as the part arrives, you will be able to replace the panel, make sure you get the key pad ribbon installed properly and tightly and you will be fine. Also remeber, NO chemical cleaners on the control panel, use a damp dish towel to clean the panel. Thanks and Good Luck
