I have removed all the screws on the back of my old panel as well as the control panel, however, I am unable to remove my old panel so that a new stainless steel panel can be installed. Is the old panel suppose to slide up, down, or straight away from the unit for removal?

Answer Hello Gerald, If memory serves, the control panel will have to come off and the panel will slide up to come off of the hinge assemblies.
