Answer Hello Jerry, With type of ribbon cable that is on the part received, there should also be a slotted receiver on the control board. There are tabs on either side to pull up the connector, then you push the ribbon cable in and push the tabs back down to lock in place.

Answer Hi Gary. Do you have a F-3 code ? This means that the oven sensor part # 12001656 is open or shorted. This is the normal reason after a cleaning and a few yrs. of use it can do this and wipe out the sensor and not allow the oven to be set to the desired temperature. I would use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist. you in your diagnosis. The sensor should read approx. 1100 ohms. Twist the sensor connector when checking. It is located behind the back cover. Check if the vent has wiped out the keypad part # 5765M433-60. You do this be unhooking the keypad ribbon cable and ohming out the ribbon cable as the buttons are pressed. The ohms will read open(infinity-ohms) when the command is not pressed off, then 0-ohms when the command is pressed on. Use the wiring diagram sent with the unit in the controls area or in behind the storage drawer. Thank You.

Answer Don, Could you please verify the model number, it seems we're missing a number (MEW55?0DDW) . Using the wiring diagram for a MEW5530DDW, my best guess at this point would be a bad circuit to the P15 connector on the control board, or a loose connection, This connector is the power supply out to the oven light and cooling, convection fan. Once we get a proper model number, we can verify the circuitry and power path. Thanks

Answer Hello Roberta. Yes, based on the model number, the white control panel 5765M433-60 is the one for your unit. The "W" on the end of the model number is the color. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Jesse! It sounds like the ribbon cable is shorting out. Try disconnecting the ribbon cable located on the back of the control panel hooked into the electronic board and cleaning it. If plugged back in and problem still persists the control panel will need to be replaced. Your part number is 5765M433-60. Thanks!
