My Repair & Advice
The 'Chat with a Pro' guided me to the correct part. The part arrived in two days. The repair was simple. I partially slid the oven out to access the sides, undid the two bolts on each side, removed the wiring connections and the panel came off. I then moved the control board to the new panel using the same nut driver, and reversed the process to install the panel. Very easy.
I could have purchased the panel for about $30 cheaper but the return policy at Appliance Parts eased my mind. I had some doubt that the panel was defective, instead believing it was the control module. The 'Pro' told me if the new one didn't work, simply return it. Good enough for me. Hopefully won't need another one for 10 years.
