The freezer drawer does not stay closed. It used to have something that drew it in on the last inch or so Now that is not happening and the drawer either does not close, or closes but pops out when one of the upper doors is closed.
Answer Rick, You'll need to remove the drawer from the rails ( Open drawer to fully open position. Remove upper basket. Remove screws one in each rail marked on side of rail. Lift front of drawer up and out to remove drawer) Then remove the drawer slides W10120018 (Remove screws inside plastic rail retainer. Remove rails from retainer by depressing plastic tabs on back side of retainer. Slide rails off of retainer.) Then you can check the black plastic rail closer and springs for damage and operation. You also want to check and make sure the rack and pinion gears are installed properly and aligned and synchronized. (Remove drawer assembly. Extend drawer rails to full open position, remove rails from retainer by depressing plastic tabs on back side of retainer. Slide rails, rack and pinion gear off of retainer.
Reverse procedure to reassemble. Note: When reinstalling rails, rack and pinion gear after latching rails in place, slide rails, rack and pinion
to the fully closed position and then pull out to synchronize the rack and pinion gears.
Need hinge for slide drawer- left side hinge.
