The "CONTROL ON" button is stuck in the "in" position. When finally worked it out, it seems to be loose and disconnected from whatever switch it is controlling. Is there a quick or easy fixed?

My start button was sticking but once apart it is obvious that the white plastic piece behind it that actually depresses the micro switch is bad. Do you have a part number for that piece or does it come with the start switch?

All of the lights on the control panel are on,, the end of cycle sound is on and wont go off,, there is an 8:88 displayed in the time window... The washer finished the cycle but the lights and everything stay on... I called whirlpool and tried to reset,, unplugged to reset and turned off in the breaker box to reset.. Nothing worked... When I push the power button the lights go off and the cycle sound stops.. When I let go of the button they come back on... Can you advise me on which part I would need to fix this? Thanks so much!!
