The pressure switch for this unit (Kenmore Pt # 3380833) which is made by Whrilpool (Pt # AP2921001) is no longer available. Any ideas on how to buypass it so that the dishwasher runs through all steps of the cycle, instead of doing the stupid fill-attempt-drain, fill-attempt-drain, before going into the main portion of the program?

I had (Notice Had) a great working dishwasher model 665.16734000 and I decided to clean the circuit board and the interior. After I re-assembled the unit all I get is three working buttons i.e., Pots & Pans; China & Sani Rinse. I did check the thermal fuse & it's OK, however, the P-6 to P-1 did not show power. I traced the orange & gray wire from the P-1 terminal & it went to the Water Level Switch part # 3380871, can this keep the panel from functioning? There is power at the swith and other terminals on the circuit board. What could have gone wrong (except for cleaning a perfectly running machine) with the board and or connections? Please advise.

I replaced control panel ( the start/resume light was blinking and nothing would happen) after replacing panel the dishwasher would run and drain but would not switch over to the drying cycle? Went to a box store and was told it might be a "sensor"? Thoughts?

Latest Questions

My dishwasher just started draining the water prematurely, before the wash cycle even starts, then the pump is running dry. I have opened the lid, poured water in, and will immediately drain. Any Ideas??

Diswasher will not drain, it cycles and cleans. I have vacuumed the water from the bottom and cleaned the inside area. What allows the diswasher to drain, is it an autovalve that opens or could it be that the drain hoses may be plugged. It used to drain after the cycle was complete, but it does not drain now.
