My pulley broke off and I removed the remaining piece by screwing it off and ordered part (pulley 8066184) but it does not want to screw on. Could the threads from the factory be cut wrong? My admiral dryer is model ADG700AWW serial 10037279GC.

Answer Dave, if your model is ADG7000AWW (with 3 0s) the motor pulley is part number 31001535. If the model number ADG7005AWW the pulley is only available with the motor part number 2200376. Thanks!

Answer Hello Glen, The motor pulley that you ordered does not work for the model number MDET236AYW. To get the motor pulley for unit you would have to purchase the motor assembly 2200376. The pulley is not a separate part.

The belt pulley on my dryer motor is bad. I have removed the pulley and the shaft threads are good. The parts breakdown for this model only lists the motor. Looking at other models I see a pulley identical to the one I removed. The p/n 8066184. Says it fits maytag dryers. The part number on my motor is different than listed on the parts breakdown as well. My motor is P/N 2200219 Model S58NXMZD-6964. Question is will this pulley fit this motor. Thanks,
