is pully p/n ap3889335 lefthand thread
While we do not have specifics on the threading, I do believe the part is left hand threaded.
The pulley (PS1487689) and belt for the motor to this Whirlpool dryer keeps coming off. How should it be properly installed? Thanks
Answer Hello Joseh,
If the belt is properly installed the issue will be a bad blower bearing in the blower housing W10256512. If it is the tub belt that is coming off the issue will be the idler pulley W10547292.
Dryer wont heat. Exhaust blower pulley and belt were off. Still no heat. What parts should I check for continuity? Thank you.
Answer Chad, you'll need to check the ignitor part number 279311, make sure it is glowing a bright white. If it is ok, then test all the thermal fuses/thermostats and make sure they are closed or 0 with a multi-meter. The flame sensor will read closed as well. If all of this is good, then you may have bad coils. Hope this helps, thanks.
