I replaced the bearings in my washer but there wasn't a snap in retainer clip included for the rear bearing so I finished the installation without it. How important is the clip? Am I gonna have problems without it? Every site I searched had that part discontinued.

I have the same issue as Ed does above where the belt is actually cutting into the drum. I bought a new belt and it just runs off the pulley after I spin it 1 rotation. I noticed that the Pulley wheel is actually flexing from the tension on the belt and I have the tension as low as it can go. Is that part supposed to be able to flex at all or is mine just worn out?? Laundry is piling up! A solution would be greatly appreciated.

Only in the spin cycle, the washer makes a loud roaring noise. When the spin cycle completes, the noise stops. I'm thinking it's the spin pulley. Would repalceing the pulley be the way to go?

Everytime I tightened the bolt for the spinner pulley, the tub gets tight and it does not spin freely. I loosen the bolt and it is still tight. I took out the bolt and remoned the spinner pulley and turn the tub by hand and still tight. When I pound the shaft where the bolt screw in with a rubber mallet and spin it with my hand and it spins freely. When I put the spinner pulley back and tighten the bolt just enough so that the pulley doesn't have any play and tub gets tight again. Although I loosened up the bolt in order for it to spin freely again. By removing the pulley and pound on the shaft again then it moves freely. Is there something missing?

Hello, I have the same problem described above, but my belt actually is cutting into the drum itself. In other words the belt is rubbing to the container and is cutting it. Also the belt is burned out due to the rubbing. Any suggestions, Thank you. Ed.
